A purpose of research is providing of necessary level of reliability of difficult agricultural technique on the basis of analysis of the systems of display of refuses of knots (asms) and synthesis of new more reliable structural constructions. Methods of research :- theoretical by the mathematical design of processes of transition of subsystems of combines the capable of working and disabled states are possible in different, to the search of optimal structural constructions of subsystems and knots taking into account the infrastructure of technical services and norms of awaiting-parts; experimental on the basis of collection and treatment of statistical information about intensity and character of forming of refuses of knots and asms (subsystems) of combine harvesters. The state-of-the-art review of features of structural decisions of knots and asms of difficult agricultural machines (combines) is presented. Analysed their structural constructions from position of reliability of implementation of the inflicted functions. Educed basic architecture of flow diagrams, the least reliable elements and technical decisions of constructions. On the basis of it there are the formulated directions of increase of their reliability. Analysed possible ways of the effective providing of reliability of difficult agricultural machines taking into account the infrastructure of technical services and reasonable setting of norms of nomenclature and volumes of awaiting-parts.
