Aim of the work - to develop the project of veterinarysanitary rules for assuring the radiation protection of agricultural animals and production of animal origin in the case of the radiation accidents. Methods of studies - to fulfill the abovementioned aim the methods of statistical analysis, modeling and others have been applied. Scenarios of the radiation situations have been analyzed which can impact the radiation safety of animals and production of stock-raising. Existing normative documents for assuring the radiation safety of animals in conditions of the radioactive contamination of territories of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Europe have been reviewed. The projects of recommendations for realization of the veterinary clinical examination of agricultural animals have been developed. The methodology for assessment of the doses to the agricultural animals from various sources has been presented.
