The object of studies - trickle irrigation water. The research aim is to study the qualitative and quantitative diversity of hydrobionts and to estimate the overall amount of oganic matter in irrigation water. The research showed, that water from the Dnieper and the Inhulets irrigation systems is marked by presence of specific biological complexes, represented by diverse algal flora, invertebrates and detritus agglomerations, which form significant biological obstructions to irrigation systems normal functioning.5481
