Purpose - studying the parameters of functioning catalytical heaters , the development of mathematical models wich reflect the features of course of heterogeneous catalytic processes on the surface of the catalyst heaters. The method of study involves the use of optical techniques , atomic force microscopy , kinetic analysis of the phenomena masstransfer to determine the efficiency of the catalytic process and abatement , and analysis of physical fields of concentrations and temperatures. The novelty of the work lies in the creation of new types of catalytic coatings on the surface of the heaters in the development of a methodology and a test bed for determining the activity of catalytic coatings obtained in the development of the model and calculation methods of catalytic converters harmful gas impurities. The most important results of the work: a method for synthesis of catalytically active coating on the surface of ceramic heaters is developed , stand for the kinetic analysis of the phenomena masoperenosa to determine the efficiency of the catalytic process and abatement is designed, a model and calculation methods of catalytic converters on the basis of ceramic catalysts heaters for harmful gas impurities developed. The results of research can be used by industry and industry associations of enterprises, as well as research and development , design and other relevant organizations .
