Found that coal Ukrainian production El-D and coal German production DGF2 and D43 / 4 Extra, with high mechanical strength and optimum aerodynamic resistance, characterized by a high adsorption capacity of iodine and methyl iodide than coal SKT-3 and SKT-3Y that currently used in coal filters AU-1500 of NPP ventilation system. Made recommendations on the use of certain varieties of coal in the filters and the proposed changes in the design of adsorber type AU-1500, all of which can improve the reliability and service life of operation.
