The quantum-mechanical problem of the motion of relativistic electrons in the oriented crystal under condition of axial channeling in the field of two chains of atoms of crystal was considered. Spectral method for determination of the levels of the transverse energy of the particles in this field was developed. The splitting of the energy levels due to violation of the axial symmetry of the potential well and tunnelling of particles between adjacent holes was investigated. The study may be useful for studying the behavior of a quantum system in which in the classical case there is the phenomenon of dynamic chaos in the motion of a particle in a two-dimensional potential well. 4.2. A computer simulation of the angular and polarization characteristics of coherent bremsstrahlung of ultrarelativistic electrons in a thin crystal when passing beams of particles at a small angle to the crystallographic axis was performed. It is shown that with increasing electron energy coherent multiple scattering of particles on atomic crystal leads to a breakdown of the dipole mode and transition to nondipole mode of emission and suppression of coherent bremsstrahlung in a crystal (similar effect Ternovsky-Shulga-Fomin in thin amorphous plate). A comparative analysis of the angular distribution of intensity and polarization in the case of the dipole and nondipole modes of emission was performed. New opportunities to produce beams of gamma-quanta with a high degree of linear polarization on the basis of nondipole mode of coherent radiation in thin crystals was pointed.
