The study has been conducted for three years in two ways: 1) "Ethno-confessional community of Crimea in the 18th - the beginning of the 21th century: its geography, social structure and cultural specificity", 2) "The issue of the relationship and interaction between ethnic and religious communities of the Crimea with their neighbors and the formation of a tolerant society". The second direction was carried out according to two sub-topics: 1) "The question of relations and interactions of confessional communities of Crimea with their neighbors," 2) "Education for inter-confessional and inter-ethnic tolerance in historical perspective on the modern stage". Archival and bibliographical studies were conducted in the course of research, they allowed to introduce new sources of scientific revolution, it was reflected in numerous articles and reports. Among the publications there are a monograph and three scientific collections (totaling 87 ps), which cover various aspects of the interaction of ethnic groups and confessions in the Crimea. The results of study on the topic of research work is also reflected in 60 articles (total of 50 ps), published in scientific journals, including 8 in the international journals and 11 abstracts at conferences (total of 2 ps ), 29 scientific and popular publications (total of 3 ps.). They highlighted the social status, legal status, national movement, outreach of confessional communities of Crimea, the problems of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations and the formation of tolerance. As part of the research Crimean Branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies together with the Integration and Developemnt Center for Information and Research initiated the international theoretical and practical conference "Culture of Peace and Tolerance in Multicultural Communities" on the October 6-8, 2011 in Simferopol, opened the series of publications "Intercultural Dialogue: Past and Present ", co-organized the conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Crimean Republical Institution "Ethnographic Museum" and a series of round tables devoted to the tolerance formation. Specified materials are made according to the highest modern standards, have a theoretical value and can be used in further research, educational development, tour stories and popular science publications, as well as they can serve as a background of recommendations to the power structures on ethnic and religious situation in the region. Research results have practical value - they have already been used and implemented by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, the Republican Committee on Inter-Ethnic Relations and Deported Citizens, Crimean Republical Institution "Ethnographic Museum", educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the ARC and the Ukraine.
