It was established that the functional state of the neuroendocrine-immune system in patients with the stroke is characterized by an onset of the stress-activating and stress-limiting systems, whereas the state of the endothelium of cerebral blood vessels is characterized by an imbalance in the system of vascular-regulating agents. Diagnostic criteria for assessing the severity of the cerebral ischemic stroke were developed and drug correction proposed (CDP-choline, L-lysine Aescinat , Thiotriazolin and Cortexinum). Satisfactory tolerability and increase in the quality of life in patients with diabetic polyneuropathy when on the ozone therapy were observed. Key Words: cerebral ischemic stroke, cerebral infarcts, endothelial dysfunction, diabetic polyneuropathy, ozone therapy.
