Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The purpose of this project is to develop domestic technology arc spot welding of sheet structures in all positions, using equipment with pulsed electrode wire feeder with a modulated power supply current. The work is result in designing and manufacturing computer controlled direct drive mechanism of welding wire pulse feeding, studies performed to determine the influence of pulse feeding parameters on the weld metal formation, the loss of electrode metal and energy costs, the algorithm of engine pulsed feed of electrode wire control from the welding power source was developed, algorithms of transfer control electrode metal as using only the pulse of the feeder, and the use of complex mechanisms controlled pulsed and controlled switching power supply were developed, technical documentation was developed and specimen of equipment for welding with controlled electrode metal transfer was manufactured, experiments on welding in carbon dioxide with pulsed wire feed were carried out. The results obtained will: - assimilate a new direction with the creation of controlled inverter power source, which reacts to certain algorithms with controlled pulsed feed mechanism; - the possibility of melting and transferring effective control through the use of feedback to the parameters of the welding process; - to provide effective management of melting and transfer from the simultaneous use of pulsed power and feed; - development of new control algorithms for fusion and transfer of the expansion of technological capabilities and reduced power inputs and resource; - to introduce the developments in industrial production in Ukraine.
