Methods: Hardness, elektrotenzometrii method, finite element method, cyclic internal pressure hydraulic load, low cycle test standard samples, standard tensile specimens to failure. As a result of the previous phases of the project "Development of a methodology to assess the strength of pipeline with corrosion damage in the welded joint area" held calculated (FEM) and experimental studies of the distribution of stresses on the surface of the volume of surface defects and those close to him portions of the welded joint, depending on the geometrical parameters of the data stress raisers and the distance between them. When the final, phase of these results were the basis for the calculation of low-cycle strength of the damaged pipeline with defects in welded joints. To develop methods of calculation were also used the results of research carried out on the project 6.7.2 "Define the basic laws of the cyclic elastic-plastic deformation of the material characteristic zones weld pipe after prolonged use." The proposed method has been experimentally tested in a full-scale cyclic test tubes with model injuries. The technique can be used for prognostic assessment of residual life of damaged pipelines and pressure vessels, operating in conditions of variable internal pressure.
