The object of the investigation: the educational activities of the library information complex as an integral part of the scientific system which supplies the pedagogical, scientific, educational and practical spheres in Ukraine with all the necessary information data.The subject of the investigation: the scientific organization of productive analytical research work including preparation of various information editions and compilation of electronic information resources which are very acute nowadays in all the spheres of scientific research and practical employment all over the world.The aim of the investigation is to develop the theoretical basis and to organize serious scientific work at V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine. The mentioned aims are of vital importance in the educational sphere of Ukraine. Methods of the investigation: the choice of methods is motivated by the aim of investigation, its methodological, theoretical and practical problems which are to be solved. Theoretical methods help to investigate and analyze the literary sources. The conceptual modelling, structural and quantitative analyses help to reveal, determine and justify the principles of information support of pedagogic science (pedagogy), education and teaching practice in Ukraine. The enumerated methods can facilitate the teachers’ preparation for their work and meet all their professional needs. Empiric methods help to investigate the systems of information and analytical support. The mentioned methods facilitate the procedures of observation, questioning the experts, polling the participants of the educational process, testing, etc. All the analyzed methods contribute to satisfying the reader’s needs. Having analyzed the existing methods of scientific investigation we come to the conclusion that the combining of various modern methods (e.g.: methods of sociological humanities, methods connected with the usage of modern information and communicationtechnologies) help to accomplish the scientific research (i.e.: the scientific topic).
