Due to the fact that currently not available methods of nondestructive testing that would allow to distinguish aviation oriented glass, brand AO- 120, which is used in the glazing of the cockpit of AN ( AN -24, AN-26 , AN- 32 and etc. . ) from undirected SO -120 have been documented cases of installation instead of AO- 120, provided design documentation , glass brand SO -120 , which led to the destruction of the glass and emergencies . Therefore research topic is actual. Methods - general physical methods , methods of systematic and comparative analysis. Results and innovation - scientific novelty of the results of the study is that the research team first developed a system of optical nondestructive testing to distinguish aviation oriented glass - AO 120 of undirected SO -120.
