The research aim was to design hybrid organic-inorganic complexes based on inorganic nanoparticles and organic biologically active compounds; study of the peculiarities of their complexing and effect on the expression extent of the genes of pluripotency and functional activity of cancer stem cells. In the work there were used contemporary research methods: light and luminescent microscopies, transmission electron microscopy, spectrophotometry, cell culturing in vivo, flow cytometry. According to the developed methods there were synthesized hybrid complexes based on inorganic nanoparticles of orthovanadates of rare earth elements GdYVO4:Eu3+, luminescent dye Dil and cholesterol. There were investigated physical and chemical characteristics of synthesized hybrid complexes based on inorganic nanoparticles and organic biologically active compounds in laboratory conditions. There was studied the character of binding the hybrid complexes with transformed cells of Ehrlich carcinoma (EC). There was examined the character of binding the synthesized nanocomplexes with total population of EC cells, as well as isolated fraction of CD44+ cells. It has been demonstrated that the presence of fluorescence in EC cells during incubation with nanocomplexes is related to their physical-chemical properties and tropicity to tumor cell membranes. There were selected optimal parameters of incubation of nanocomplexes with EC cells. It has been shown that the interaction character of hybrid complexes both with heterogenic population and isolated fraction of CD44+ cells of EC with the aim of targeted labeling in a great extent depends on incubation time. After short-term incubation (3hrs) of EC cells with a hybrid complex its active adsorption took place on a cell membrane with following accumulation in cytoplasm.
