Research purpose - research and development of new electromagnetic systems for THz BWO-Clinotrons; research, development and design of precise high-voltage power supplies for THz BWO-CLinotrons based on modern radio components and scheme solutions; research and development of modern vacuum pumping system for THz BWO-Clinotron design. Methods of Research - the numerical simulation of slow-wave structures and analytical theory for the analysis of BWO-Clinotrons with developed elecgtromagnetic systems; research and development of the electronic schemes and also experimental test of developed power supply units for THz BWO-Clinotrons. Simulation results of dispersion characteristics of multiple stage slow-wave systems of THz BWO-Clionotrons have been obtained and analyzed. Simulation results show that in the systems with the screen it is capable to excite so-called "hybrid" modes different from both traditional surface and eigen modes of waveguide with the grating in terms of field distribution. It was shown that oscillator operation on hybrid modes allows one to improve the output characteristics BWO-Clinotrons, i.e. start current decrease and increase of Q-factor. Compact filament power supplies and schemes of high-voltage power supply for THz BWO-Clinotron was developed and tested and also vacuum pumping system has been developed and design for the modern Clinotron tube design.
