It was shown that both mechanisms allow to deflect the positively charged particles at the corners, far exceeding the critical angle of axial channeling. Analysis of the stochastic mechanism of deflection of high-energy protons showed that, in contrast to the planar channeling , the efficiency of this mechanism increases with decreasing particle energy from 50 GeV to 1 GeV. It is important for the possible use of stochastic mechanism of charged particles deflection that in the angular distribution of the particles after the passage of the crystal particles deflected in the direction opposite to the direction of the crystal bend are almost absent. This fact is one of the important advantages of stochastic deflection above the planar channeling in problems of reduction of beam halo in circular accelerators. The output of particles in skew planar channels, which occurs when the stochastic deflection of protons takes place, can be applied to solve the problems of splitting the beam or to transform round or elliptical beams in the planar .
