Expression of these genes effects secondary metabolism and morphogenesis Streptomyces nogalater Lv65. Manipulation of these genes is a successful tool for obtaining strains with elevated synthesis of nogalamycin and revealed some stages of regulation of secondary metabolism of this antibiotic. Through targeting of snogM, snogL and snogY genes derivatives of nogalanycin were generated. Modified nogalamycines have increased anti-tumor activity. They are more effective than that of doxorubicin and effectively act on cells with different types of resistance. The optimal medium for the synthesis of antitumor antibiotic nogalamycin by S. nogalater Lv65 and biomass accumulation is medium SG. The highest level of antibiotic synthesis was observed in cultivation of S. nogalater Lv65 at neutral pH and temperature of 28-30 ° C. The highest level of nogalamycin synthesis was observed by culturing S. nogalater Lv65 on media with 5% glucose.
