The purpose of research work - to determine the characteristics of the interaction of cluster dirhenium(III) compounds with deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), the definition of technologicaland functional properties of the nanostructured materials based on rhenium and zirconium dioxide. Methods of investigations: theoretical and experimental investigations using preparative and technical chemistry and physico-chemical analysis by methods of thermogravimetry, X-ray diffraction, scanning-transmission electron microscopy, electron and infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance. The method of producing of ceramic materials from stabilized zirconium dioxide nanoscale powders, rhenium-based composite materials with catalytic activity converting CO, as well as the method of synthesis of dirhenium(III) halogencarboxylates with nucleic bases as structural units of DNA, that allows us to predict the mechanism of dirhenium cpompounds antitumor activity, have been developed as a result of the work.
