The electrodes of such a hybrid source contain both supercapacitor and lithium-ion-battery components. It is shown that such a combined source is more sensitive to electron irradiation than a conventional supercapacitor, but the dose that can significantly degrade the characteristics of the hybrid element cannot be accumulated at the satellite lifetime. A new stochastic mathematical model describing the process of charging of the supercapacitor with nanoporous carbon materials is presented. The method is based on the discrete detailed balance equations, which was previously used to describe the charging of dusty granules in ionized gases. This approach adequately takes into account the fact of discrete charge of anions and cations. The unsteady system of balance equations to describe the charging SCs is obtained. For a simplified case, we obtain exact analytical solutions of these equations and get the dependence for stationary charge distribution in nanopores. A new approach to risk assessment of space weather factors influence on the functioning of perspective combined satellite batteries has been proven. The main attention has been paid to the new method of risk minimization of space radiation affects such as fast-moving particles and X-rays on ultracapacitors using a dynamical modeling and optimization techniques. Mathematical modeling of space weather dynamics using satellite data and discrete nonlinear dynamical models has been conducted. A proposal for the ukrainian space industry regarding the system "energy storage device based on ultracapacitors - control system - solar battery - interface module - system for the collection and processing of scientific information" has been prepared. Recommendations on further development of energy storage devices and the results obtained in the aerospace industry are also formulated.
