Subject of research - oxidation mechanism of hetarenes and interaction between ozone and pure metals. Aim of research - research of kinetics and mechanisms of oxidation reactions of hetarenes by the higher forms of metal oxides; it is in details studied the kinetic and the mechanism of reactions a catalytic cycle - reactions of ozone in the presence of metals of variable valency (МVV) in in sulfuric acid solutions. In this work the interaction of ozone with pure metals, which has great value not only for the mechanism of catalysis, but also for the phenomena of ozone corrosion of metals, including atmospheric-ozone corrosion is studied. The main stages of the catalytic cycle of alkylhetarenes ozonation is the oxidation of transition metals to higher oxidized forms by ozone and the oxidation latest of alkylhetarenes have been determined. Practically using of ozonation as a means of protection of stainless steel, titanium and its alloys from corrosion was implemented.
