Research purpose, the research is aimed at the development of Technical Task (TT) on design of engine in class of 2,720 kgf thrust (Contract No. 026 (UGK) dated 02.06.2009). Research phases, the following phases were fulfilled while developing TT: - selection of parameters and creation of engine configuration; - calculation of engine characteristics; - development of engine Technical Task (TT); - TT coordination with Customer; - development of schedule for a full-scale design of engine in class of 2,720 kgf thrust. Theoretical and practical results of research, as a result of research conducted a configuration of a turbofan engine to power high-altitude UAV with a long flight endurance was created. The Technical Task on design of 2,720 kgf AI-230 turbofan engine was developed as based on the engine configuration.
