The novelty of the research work is confirmed by up-to-date level of developed models and electro-technological equipment, by application of new approaches to theoretical, experimental and computer investigation of electro-physical and electromagnetic processes. The theoretical importance of the scientific work consists in the developed scientific and theoretical foundations, mathematical models and revealed relationships taking place at interaction of low-frequency electric field with charges on the surface of conducting extraneous micro-inclusions in modern polyethylene insulation for extra-high-voltage cables and in methods for reducing of duration and instability of discharge currents in spark-erosion load for production of quick-hardened and disperse-reinforced powders of materials. The practical value of research work consists in application of the results in techniques for computations of the local amplification of electric field and strained volumes in polymer insulation at development of up-to-date industrial technologies for manufacture of home-produced cables for voltage up to 330 kV (in PJSC "Yuzhcable Works") and at creation of high-voltage installations for electro-hydro-pulse treatment of oil wells and boreholes to renew their capacity (in the Institute of Pulse Processes and technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Mykolaiv).
