Methods of the research: electrophysical experiment in the laboratory; study of carbon nanomaterials by methods of elemental X-ray spectrum analysis, and electronic microscopy. Purpose of the inquiry is the synthesis and enrichment of carbon nanomaterials in the process of electrodischarge treatment of organic fluids with the optimum hybridization for certain nanostructures yield due to use of necessary catalysts and precursors. The catalytic method of purposeful discharge pulse sysnthesis of carbon nanotubes, nanofibers or films is developed with respect to the catalyst type and hybridization degree of carbon atoms in the molecules of source material and gases forming during the processes of electrodischarge treatment of organic fluids. It is shown that the use of metal catalysts (Ni, Fe, Cu, Nb, Al) allows for obtaining carbon nanotubes and nanofibers and to increase the target carbon nanomaterials from two to tens. The carbon nanomaterials obtained as a result of electrodischarge treatment and pyrolysis of the mixture of hydrocarbon gases, depending on the source of carbon and catalysts, are basically formed from one type of carbon nanomaterials (fullerene-like structures of carbon (onions), carbon nanotubes, nanofibers or films).
