Object of research - the economically valuable and rare plants, which belong to Asteraceae, Lamiaceae, Cannabaceae, Fabaceae, Orchidaceae, Colchicaceae, Paeoniaceae, Oxalidaceae families. The bio-ecological and productivity characteristics of introduced energy, food, fodder, aromatic and medicinal plants have been estimated (Helianthus tuberosus L. ? H.annus L., Helianthus tuberosus L., Nepeta cataria, N. cataria var. Sitriodora, Humulus lupulus, Robinia pseudoacacia). Cell cultures for in vitro study of rare and endangered plants have been created. The alternative and promising crops for biofuel (bioethanol) production and phytotherapy have been identified. The methods for conservation of rare plant species occurring in Ukraine in terms of regional climate change have been practiced.Results have been implemented on an area of about 5,000 hectares.Two monographs, the 11 scientific articles were published.
