Aim: an experimental assessing the methods of endocrine tissue microencapsulation and the efficiency of their transplantation as a treatment method for the hypofunctional states of the endocrine glands. Methods: microencapsulation, cultivation, transplantation; immunoradiometric, morphologic, fluorometric analyses. Theoretical and practical results: the high viability and the hormonal activity of microencapsulated (the alginate microcapsules) human thyroid and adrenal cortex tissue during the prolonged cultivation and after xenotransplantation to the rats was demonstrated. Novelty: method of alginate microcapsule preparation were developed. Efficiency of introduction: increased visual contrast of alginate microcapsules. Advantage over analouges : the proposed method of alginate microcapsule preparation with adding of a stain, trypan blue, at a final concentration of 0.25% at the stage of polymerization allows to increase the percentage of visually visible alginate microcapsules in vitro.
