Karazin popup.description2 Research object – thin films with perovskite structure MPbI3 M= Cs, Rb. Purpose of the research – to develop methods of preparation and study of the exciton spectra of thin films of ternary compounds MPbI3 M= Cs, Rb. Research methods – vacuum deposition of films, spectroscopic measurement of the absorption spectra, determination of the exciton bands parameters. The technique of vacuum deposition of thin films MPbI3 M= Cs, Rb with the subsequent annealing is developed. Absorption spectra identified their phase composition. The absorption spectra of thin films CsPbI3 are investigated in the spectral range 2-6 eV and in the temperature range 90-520 K. Exciton excitations in CsPbI3 localized in structural elements (PbI6)4- end the exciton bands in the absorption spectrum correspond to the electronic transitions in (PbI6)4 octahedra. Absorption spectrum of thin films RbPbI3 is studied. For the first time, the exciton binding energy, the band gap and the radius of the exciton are identified. It is shown that the excitons in RbPbI3 are intermediate coupling excitons. Dispersion of the refractive index is measured in thin films RbPbI3. Refractive index is well described by a single-oscillatory model by Wemple. Research results are used for further search and study of new multi-component compounds with similar structure and development of the theory of excitons in multi-component compounds.
