As a consequence, the amount of corrosion products in the coolant decreases. The investigation results agree with the published data on the effect of zink on the corrosion behavior of primary circuit materials. Based on the corrosion test results, it was shown that dosing zink into WWER-1000 primary coolant can be recommended for implementation at Ukrainian NPPs.
