It was 83 children in the study group, who were treated on the scheme developed considering the phase of the disease. In control group (61 patients) treatment was produced in general principles of treatment of purulent surgical infection. A scale predicting the risk of adverse course DP was developed. Method of dynamic thoracoscopy was developed and used in clinical practice. An algorithm for treatment based on the scale of risk prediction of adverse course DP was used. We propose a method intraorganic electrophoresis of antibiotics (Patent of Ukraine № 62172 from 10.08.2011 ). The technique of fractional wash of pleural cavity, depending on the phase of pleural complications was developed. Was introduced the monitoring the dynamic processes in the pleural cavity based on dynamic thoracoscopy and ultrasound, that allows to change treatment tactics in proper time.
