Aim of the work is justification of optimum parameters and development direction of the PJSC "CMCC" Gleevatsky quarry. Research methods - the analysis of design decisions, the analysis of references, a method of analytical and graphic calculation of stability, a method of options, methods of mathematical modeling. The development of mining complex raw materials sources, design decisions from the moment of quarry construction till today is considered in work. The actual state of mining operations is analyzed. Possibility of increase in resultant open pit overall slope angles and temporary dump to greatest possible, providing their stability is estimated. Economic effect of increase in open pit side slope angle at the expense of its fastening is approximately estimated. The sink rate options of the Gleevatsky quarry without expansion of east board on a day surface are considered. The methodology of sink rate options assessment and pit contours expansions on the basis of criterion of a minimum of stripping coefficient and a profitability maximum is developed. Sink rate options of the quarry and expansions of its contours in the southern and northern directions are offered. According to the developed principles the assessment of options is executed, and also the involvement order of stocks in mining is offered. 5 mining fields which can potentially be developed by the open method (in 30 km zone to the Gleevatsky quarry) are considered. The analysis of mining fields included definition of stocks, approximate quarry parameters developing these sites. Also transport communications, buildings and the constructions being in limits of these lands were defined. In work two options of a quarry final contour during the work till 2050 with an ore productivity of 6000 thousand tons a year were determined, their technical and economic comparison is executed and optimum option is chosen. The analysis of a rocks massif condition broken by underground mining operations within a quarry contour in work-out situation is made. Recommendations about final parameters of the Gleevatsky quarry were developed. Recommendations about the directions of Gleevatsky quarry mining are made. Recommendations about introduction of this research work results are provided.
