The aim of the work: assessment of forces influencing the windsurfing board during its straight motion on calm-water. Research methods: experimental research of the forces in the experimental model basin, theoretical study of under-sail motion. Main results: in terms of tests of the windsurfing board NSS1 in the NUS experimental model basin the dependences are obtained of towing resistance and characteristics of the model equilibrium on its velocity in the velocity range from 1.0 up to 5.0 m/s.
