On the ground of studying of worldwide notions concerning ISTAR system the Research report proposes: Conceptual vision of organizations process of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance in the Ukrainian Armed Forces; phasing-in of the ISTAR system in the Military Intelligence System of Ukraine; two methods of approaching to create the Ukrainian Reconnaissance (ISTAR) unit which will be ready to participate in NATO led operations in the frame of the Partnership for Peace program; tasks for achieving of interoperability of the Ukrainian Reconnaissance (ISTAR) unit with NATO coalition forces. The scientific research data can be used for development of ISTAR Concept for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
