A restaurant car on locomotive traction model 61-779P. 61.779P.000.TA” and normative documents in force according to following characteristics:operability of devices and systems which ensure traffic safety; operability of devices which ensure electrical safety of the crew and passengers; output capacity of the diesel generator;electromagnetic compatibility with signaling and communicating devices of the car electric equipment, fed with the undercar diesel generator;thermo technical characteristics;noise and infrasound parameters.Results of the research studies of the restaurant car, which were carried out in stationary and running conditions on Ukrzaliznitsia railways are given in this report. Research studies were carried out according to the type test procedure and branch standards, developed by GP “UkrNIIV” and authorized in established order.Research work results can be used for modification of electric equipment and comfort systems of the electric train in order to fulfill ND requirements.
