The synthetic methods for trifluoromethylsubstituted thiolanes - non-nucleoside compounds, which are related with carbohydrate fragments of nucleosides and nucleotides - have been elaborated on the basis of fluoroalkylsubstituted dihydrothiopyranes. The effective inhibiting agents of herpesviruses and human adenovirus were found among the new synthetic compounds.
