Fundamental and applied researches in ten areas of the State Program were carried out. In the 17th UAE (wintering, summer season) databases of environmental monitoring and original research in the area of Antarctic Peninsula at all levels of geosphere were replenished. Conventional boundaries of unique underwater polygons were laid and the work on creation of MPA in the water area of the Argentine Islands Archipelago has been started. New data on the assessment of mineral and oil and gas resources of the Antarctic region are obtained. The results of studies that were performed within 20 scientific and technical projects were considered and systematized. The results of participation in Antarctic Committees, information and publishing activities covering priority research in Antarctica and their popularization were discussed.54815481
