In August 2012, a joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian expedition in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions, where it was collected 53 samples of wild populations of perennial legumes and grasses. The study of these samples will be held in the following years.   Workshops were held: "The system of genetic resources in Ukraine" (10 August 2012), "Methods for the conservation of genetic resources of perennial grasses in Lithuania" (27 September 2012).
