Since the surface layers mainly determined performance of these products, so wear resistance, corrosion resistance, biocompatibility and others, completely dependent on the state and properties of the surface. The solution to this problem can surface modification products (implants) different methods of chemical-heat treatment. This phase of work is focused on optimizing the time-temperature and gas-dynamic parameters of diffusion saturation of nitrogen and oxygen controlled gas environment in terms of surface hardening alloy VT6 predetermined phase-structural state on the basis of the electrochemical behavior in physiological solution. Further studies will be used to obtain patterns tribological behavior, corrosion resistance in biological environments, the fatigue strength and durability of VT6 titanium alloy with diffusion modified layers depending on the chemical and phase composition, stoichiometry, surface micro geometry of the surface layers, the structure of the volume of material, etc. which will identify areas of their functional life.
