Aim - to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with viral IE of BA, by optimizing the use of diagnostics and drugs with antiviral activity. Methods - clinical, functional, microbiological, statistics. By the new diagnostic scheme of IE of BA viral agents were identificated in 51,7 % cases (with prevalence of rhinoviruses - іn 55,0 %). Use of antiviral drugs vitaglutam in the treatment of patients with viral etiology IE has reduced the intensity and duration (on 1-2 days) of manifestations of IE and frequency of bacterial complications by 14,8 % and in combination with the drug quercetin - has reduced the duration of the IE on 3,8 days by due of positive changes in the free radical peroxidation of lipids.
