It is analyzed methods for assessing emission level of transport stream, evaluation methods of concentration of harmful substances in the air of roadside environment, methods of determining the level of noise transport streams and information systems are based on these methods and techniques. It is developed the method of estimation parametric and ingredient pollution of roadside environment by transport stream, which allows to determine the mass emissions and the content of main harmful components that are emitted with the exhaust gases of vehicles in the air of roadside environment and the predicted equivalent noise level of transport streams depending on the composition of transport stream based on category and weight of vehicles, their age composition, environmental classes, type of fuel used, mode of movement of the car, the driver selects on a stretch of road, depending on road conditions (longitudinal and transverse slope of the road, plan, sight distance, construction of roads, type and condition coverage, etc.) and factors environmental influences on the distribution of pollutants (speed and direction of wind, atmospheric stability class, the amount of solar radiation). For the purpose of visualization the level of parametric and ingredient pollution of roadside environment by transport stream used GIS technology. An analysis of existing GIS programs found that MapWindow GIS is optimal software for the criteria of popularity and the possibility of modifying the original source code.
