The method of scanning electron microscopy ( SEM ) revealed that the surface of ceramic membranes formed spherical particles of 80 nm ( for amino groups ) and 50 nm ( for mercapto ). The method of infrared spectroscopy proved that functional polisiloxane layer has introduced functional groups, siloxane bonds, ethylene bridges, silanol groups and water.
