Performed forecasting research of coordinated development of thermal power plants and associated district heating systems. Identified based on their implementation of the necessary volume for electric consumers - regulators and detailed regulatory perspective structure of power units. Results have been implemented in the development of the upgrade partition energy strategy of Ukraine for the period until 2030. Implementation results will: suspend inefficient cycling of power units by reducing the costs of start-up fuel and increase service life and reliability of equipment , provide an annual effect of up to 2.2 billion UAH. Implementation will reduce natural gas consumption by CHP to 3 billion m3 per year , or 12 billions UAH per year, and create in Ukraine a new high-tech energy sector and new jobs for qualified personnel in energy and power engineering.
