The subject of research are regularities of plastic deformation of powder porous billets and physico-mechanical properties of complex loading schemes. The purpose is improvement and further development of the theory of plastic deformation of powder porous billets using complex loading schemes for production of machine parts by metal forming methods. In this research work, the theory of plastic deformation of powder billet has been improved and further developed while accounting a rate sensitivity. The qualitative and quantitative estimates of the strain rate impact on plastic flow of porous bodies have given by using of micromechanical and phenomenological approaches. The developed expressions put on the basis of mathematical modeling of forming operations of porous billets. The mathematical models used for computer simulation of open and closed upsetting, direct and radial-direct extrusion by finite element method. The influence of the stress state scheme on physical and mechanical properties has been estimated. The laboratory tests that are confirming the adequacy of the simulation have been performed. The production technologies of machine parts from powder billets have been developed. Research procedures: fundamentals of the flow theory of powder porous billets, finite element method, computer and physical modeling, statistical analysis of experimental data.
