The subject of the research is the technology of formation and processing of the freight flows on the transport corridors. The aim of the project is to improve the technology of formation and management of freight flows in transport corridors, which will minimize costs on logistic service and will stimulate the socio-economic development of the regions. To carry out the tasks of the project the following methods were used: the theory of traffic processes and systems, logistic management, mathematical statistics, systems analysis, the theory of random processes, methods of simulation technique, methods of fuzzy logic and modeling, modern IT. The results of the research which are in the form of the theoretical foundations of creating effective transport-communicating and logistic systems of border areas, in particular Sverdlovsk and Sverdlovsk district of Lugansk region are accepted for working out the program of development of the border areas; in the form of the principles of predicting the quantity and the composition of the railcars according to its type and pattern of ownership are accepted for usage and the following adoption in SE "SSRC railway transport of Ukraine"; in the for m of methods of container conversion at reloading stations on the basement of simulation model accepted for the following working out and improving by The Chief commercial administration of Ukrzaliznytsi (UR) and in the form of the parts in academic disciplines in the educational process used for graduate engineering and preparation of master's theses.
