Subject of research - regime-technological NOx formation reduction measures and reduction of high temperature corrosion of furnace waterwalls. Object of study - the TP-10 boiler. Method of research - analysis of TPP boiler equipment, computational studies on the implementation of the technology on Dobrotvorska TPP TP-10 boiler. Known methods for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions and ways of their formation during combustion in the pulverized coal boilers are reviewed. Study shows a large contribution of the fuel nitrogen oxides boilers that burn high-volatile coal with dry bottom. Cost-effective method of reducing the generation of nitrogen oxides by the spatial separation of the primary and secondary flows of air - tangential combustion technology is selected. It also allows protecting of furnace waterwalls from high temperature corrosion. Temperature surfaces, gas concentrations, formation of nitrogen oxides for selected Technology are calculated in the ANSYS Fluent simulation software. According to calculations degree of reduction of nitrogen oxides at the outlet of the furnace of 10-20% is expected. It is select the optimal scheme of secondary air input with minimal reconstruction of the boiler. On the basis of calculations and recommendations were drawn up technical project for the tangential burner design for TP-10 boiler. Design is performed by the State Enterprise "Lviv design bureau".
