An analysis identified the mechanism to reduce to the 0.6% heat ( instead of 4 % under support fuel using ) of gas flow to the burner to ensure stability of its work on different loads and at increased ash content over the projected in coal. Analysis of the results of pilot operation showed: - stable operation in the coal blends with gas flows from 2.0 to 0.6% depending on the amount of volatile (Vdaf = 6-12%); - The burner ability to work without gas with TCP system shuts down for mixtures with Vdaf > 12% and its fast activation in the case of deterioration in the coal quality. Computer modeling allowed to find the best options for burner operation as of technological efficiency and enhancement of environmental indicators, as well as provided an opportunity for recommendations to improve the resource and reliability of burners' design that are planned for further exploitation at TPP.
