The aim of research is development of effective methods for calculation of strength, stability and vibration of geometrically-nonlinear laminated plates and shallow shells with different planform, fasting ways, material properties. The proposed methods are based on combined using of the R-functions theory and variational methods, the method of nonlinear normal modes of vibration, the modified method of multiple scales, FEM with using the ABAQUS package. The proposed methods, algorithms and software are used to study parametric, geometrically nonlinear free and forced vibrations of laminated shallow shells and plates with in-plane loading; forced resonant vibrations of quasilinear mechanical systems with internal resonance; delamination of composite plates while vibration. Created a knowledge base and software can be used to develop automated programming systems, as well as to study the dynamic behavior of plates and shallow shells of complex shape in the plan at designing real structures. The results are used in scientific research, partly embedded in the learning process. Numerical results can be used by engineers in calculating the strength of the elements of thin-walled structures that are modeled laminated plates and shallow shells.
