Ovcharenko Institute of biocolloidal Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The aim of the work - to study a number of effects that are observed under the influence of electrical, mechanical and concentration fields in multiphase systems containing ionic surfactants and polyelectrolytes, including improvement of the theory of mechano-chemical effects for nonequilibrium multiphase systems containing electrolyte solutions and/or ionic surfactants, to investigate manifestations of topological features of heterogeneous polymer resins in their transport properties, the development of the theory of controlled transport in external fields of so-called "soft" particles, as well as the formulation of the theoretical basis for a new mechanism of the relative motion of the liquid and solid phases in dispersed systems, arising due to the effect of the temperature gradient in the sound wave on the surface layer of the liquid. The method of research - theoretical approaches of physico-chemical electro-hydrodynamics (Nernst-Planck, Navier-Stokes, continuity, convective diffusion equation, approximation of local equilibrium and local electroneutrality, cell model), combining the macroscopic electrodynamics, classical hydrodynamics and thermodynamics of irreversible processes. The scientific significance of the performed theoretical studies is that the results will be used for quantitative interpretation of electrokinetic, capillary and seism electric measurements, aimed at studying the morphology and properties of surface layers, and deeper understanding of the processes of self-organization in non-equilibrium systems with direct conversion of chemical energy into mechanical energy and of the transport mechanisms in external fields of electrically neutral components of solutions, in particular, of the so-called "soft" particles. The practical significance is that the results can be used in the design of new efficient devices, used to study the components of biological mixtures, improving technology of separation and synthesis of materials, electro-mechanical and chemical transformation of energy, improving devices for measuring of the dynamic properties of interfaces and to improve the normativity of seism electrical measurements. Relevance of the research is associated with rapidly increasing in recent years focusing on artificial systems that mimic the rhythmic processes in living organisms, including those in which there is a direct conversion of chemical energy into mechanical energy, in the process of separation of substances using polymer gels, the nano-structured porous environments, and to the controlled transport in external fields of so-called "soft" particles, i.e. particles coated with polyelectrolyte layers.
