The aim is to study the role of border cells in the process of root exudation, root exudation study activities at different levels of redox homeostasis in the root apex. Research methods - determination of proline content, the activity of pectin methyl esterase, MDA , amount of carbonylated proteins and carbohydrates. It has been shown that the activity of root exudation depends on the temperature , density of seeds, germination medium composition (concentration of exogenous root exudates (RE), NaF). The ratio between the activity of root exudation and root growth rate was determined by the conditions of cultivation. It has been shown that the type of the root meristem determines the structural and functional properties of root in the early stages of germination: the growth rate of root dynamics of proline, population dynamics of border cells, the activity of root exudation differed significantly between species with open and closed type of root meristem. In addition to the structural and functional parameters mentioned above the age -dependent features (for 1- and 2-day-old seedlings) were found and identified. The adaptation to increasing concentrations of NaF has been shown to be associated with alterations in the system of root exudation (increased content of polysaccharides consisting gel cover) and antioxidant system alterations (increase in the content of low molecular weight antioxidant proline ) Product Description popup.authors Кізілова В.
