The main objectives of Veterinary Medicine is to protect the territory of Ukraine from the territory of other States or of areas quarantine infectious diseases, prevention and diagnosis of infectious, parasitic and non-communicable diseases and their treatment , protection from diseases common to animals and humans , state control and oversee the quality and safety of veterinary preparations, substances , finished fodder, feed additives and veterinary medical facilities , including export and import of veterinary drugs, the state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision over the observance of veterinary- sanitary requirements established by law. As well as facilitating the introduction of achievements of veterinary medicine. Efficacy of biologics in modern conditions of livestock depends on many factors. It should be emphasized that at this stage vaccines have emerged as the main driving force of prevention. This situation has contributed to increase the number of animals, the emergence of new diseases and commercialization of biological industry. Way biological product from the manufacturer to the animals on the farm should be transparent , reliable, meet the requirements of "cold chain" controlled at all stages. Vaccines and other biological products subject to batch control and only then allowed their production and sale. This ensures that the drugs are really active and harmless when applied and will not deteriorate epizootic situation in the country due to the accidental presence of virulent pathogens in vaccines. Thus , quality control of biological products , the implementation of organizational and legal measures aimed at compliance with business entities regardless of ownership legislation of Ukraine to ensure the quality, efficacy and safety of biological agents in the production , transportation, storage, sale , use including export and import biological products will more effectively carry out the prevention of infectious diseases.
