The purpose of research: to breed a winter triticale variety for zone of Polissya and north Forest-steppe of Ukraine with high yield and wheat's type of grain. Methods of research. Creating of the breeding material was conduct with the method of crossbreeding with drawing of the valuable forms. The breeding process was conduct with the "pedigree" method. The results and the novelty. There is winter triticale variety Molfar in the state investigation. In the period of 2011 - 2013 were select breeding samples F4 - F6 with the gluten contain 22,9 - 26,1 %, that was more than standard (21,6%) at 1,3-4,5%. Selected breeding lines with the yield 6,2 - 6,7 t/ha, that was more than standard at 1,2-1,7 t/ha. Determined the candidates into varieties: the samples of variety investigation no. 220, 224, 200, 198, 5074 (249-07; 69-с; S. Molfar; S. Molfar /Sanus), which in average in three different zones had yield 5,0 - 5,3 t/ha, that was reliable more, than standard.
