The samples of the photonic crystals and glasses have been infiltrated by metals: Ag and Au, active dielectrics: Bi12SiO20, Bi12GeO20, NaBi(MoO4)2. A method of infiltrated of biological molecules, nucleic acid bases and amino acids as well molecular iodine in porous of synthetic opal has been obtained, characterization of the samples was done and luminescent property of the systems - opal / DNA and molecular iodine/ opal has been studied. The peculiarity of giant enhancement of effective field and anomalous slowing down of light in photonic crystals and their influence on the optical properties and structure of molecules, nanocrystals and biological objects located in nanoscale areas of photonic crystal volume. It is proposed an application of the photonic crystals and photonic glasses for nano-bio-photonics as highly sensitive detectors and modifiers of characteristics of biological objects and their interactions, fluorescent tags for microscopy and as a material for photodynamic therapy in medicine.
