Among the Ti-based intermetallic compounds with DO19 only Ti3Sn was found to undergo martensitic transformation. X-Ray analysis shown that room-temperature Ti75.5Sn24.5 consists of orthorhombic Cmcm phase. Mechanisms of pseudoelasicity were found to be quite sensitive to material's microstructure.
